Syracuse's Top 5 Summer Festivals - 2007Syracuse celebrates the summer season outdoors, with a variety of events and festivals to suit everyone's "taste." Taste of Syracuse In 2005, the Bacon Brothers (as in Kevin and Michael) drew more than
50,000 people to this annual summer kick-off event. Enjoy concerts, cooking
demonstrations, and food, beer and wine tastings, from more than 40 area
restaurants. Restaurants will offer at least one item for $1. Admission
is free. Pay as you eat! 93Q Coors Light Balloon Fest This is a perfect family event. Watch "take-off" at 6:00-7:30
p.m. each day and at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting).
Brave souls can even take a ride in one of the dozens of ten-story high
balloons. Enjoy national and local recording artists, amusement rides
and a fresh-water beach. Last year's national entertainers included Aaron
Carter, Tyler Hilton, and Bonnie McKee. Syracuse Nationals Car Happening A must-do for the classic-car and street-rod enthusiast. Vintage autos,
muscle cars, tuners and more show off during this event. Tractor pulls,
flames, and cruise nights keep the crowds excited. Syracuse M & T Jazz Fest Great New York State Fair Twelve days of the best food, technology, products, and livestock in
New York State! Enjoy music, rides, and free entertainment. See why New
