Summer UC Application (Graduate and Undergraduate) (pdf file)
The summer is a separate term from the academic year and this separate aid application is required if the student plans to continue attending in the summer term. Students beginning study in a summer term must complete the upcoming year's UC Application (graduate or undergraduate) along with this year's FAFSA and the prior year's income documents. The summer is considered the ‘trailing term’ by Syracuse University and is administered as such when working with Federal Aid Programs. Unused portions of annual limits from the academic year in the different federal grant and loan programs may be used in the summer.

Undergraduate Child Care Grant Application
The University College Financial Aid Office provides information about child care grants and referrals to UC undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need.  With sponsorship from Syracuse University’s Human Resources department, UC has entered into a partnership with Child Care Solutions, a local not-for-profit organization that provides information, referrals, and educational materials to parents who need child care in order to continue their education.  Grant money awarded to a student is posted to the student’s Bursar account and paid by UC directly to the child care provider. Students must apply each academic year.

NYS Aid for Part-time Study Application (pdf file)
This grant program is financed by New York State in conjunction with participating educational institutions throughout the state. The program provides up to $2,000 per academic year (depending on annual state allocation of funds to institutions) to help part-time undergraduate students meet their educational tuition expenses.

Family Member(s) in College Verification Form
If you reported on your FAFSA that more than one family member will be enrolled in college, this information must be verified. Use this form to submit your verification. Changes in the number of family members originally reported in college will result in a review of your financial aid award. Adjustments may be made to the original financial aid award.

Release of Student Information (pdf file)
Syracuse University/University College fully complies with the Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regarding the release of student information. If a student wishes to give a third party permission to discuss their student records, the student must complete the Release of Student Information form and submit it to the Registrar's office at UC.

Veterans Administration Educational Benefits Request for Certification form (pdf file)
Also called the ‘GI Bill’, this program supports veterans, their dependents and their survivors. The Financial Aid Office at University College certifies enrollment of part-time SU students who wish to use VA Educational Benefits. First time use requires completion of this form and a copy of the veteran’s DD214. A copy of this form must be completed for each term in which the student requesting VA Educational Benefits wishes to enroll. VA Rehabilitation Benefits are administered between the student's VA counselor and the SU Bursar Office, 102 Archbold North.

Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards chart (pdf file)
Federal Regulations require that the financial aid office monitors the academic progress of student who have received any type of federal financial aid, including Federal Work Study, Federal Stafford Loan, Federal SEOG, Federal Pell Grant and Federal Perkins Loans. Academic progress is defined as earning a minimum number of academic credits of those attempted and maintaining a minimum grade point average (GPA). University College of Syracuse University uses the same standards of academic progress to determine continued eligibility for all university funded scholarships and grants. If you are a NYS HEOP student, these standards apply also to your State and University HEOP Aid.
